The Angels find them selves four games out of first place in the AL West, behind the Seattle Mariners and two games up on the Oakland A's. The Angles find them selves in a pretty good postition. They have series with Baltimore and against Tampa Bay before the All-Star break. Both team are struggling this year and will give the Angels a chance to lessen the gap between them and the Mariners.
The Angels began a series against the Baltimore Orioles on a bad note Tuesday night. They lost the opening game by a score of 3-0. The Angles lost despite a good pitching effort by Ramon Ortiz. He pitched eight innings giving up only five hits and two earned runs. The Angles had a horid day at the plate, getting only four hits and zero runs off of Rodrigo Lopez, who ever that guy is.
On June 28th, Al Levine was placed on the DL. This injury puts a hole in the Angels bullpen. As a result Scott Schoeneweis has been demoted to the bullpen. John Lackey is going to be taking Schoeneweis' spot in the rotation.

QUICK VIEW
Adam Kennedy (DROP)- He is not worth having on your roster. He shares time with two other guys and when he does play he doesnt produce. Just get rid of him.
Tim Salmon (ADD)- He has been very hot lately. If your in need of some hitting, then pick him up. He will put up good numbers after the break.
Jarrod Washburn (HOLD/GET)- IF you have him then let him be. If you dont have him then get him. He might be the hottest pitcher in the AL.
John Lackey (ADD)- If your need pitching help then he might be a solid pick up. He will not be a grest pick up but he will help a bad staff.
Scott Schoeneweis (DROP)- He has been dumped into the bullpen. He is usless now. Drop him and just put him out of his missery.
Shawn Wooten (ADD)- He will be comming back after the All-Star game. The Angels are thin at first base and he will be getting a lot of playing time. He might not come back strong, but give him time and he will be back to his old self.
