Chad Cordero (RP), MON

All you Cordero owners, don't get too excited, as there was a report that he'd most likely have some competition for the spot... and not Luis Ayala. With John Patterson expected to return from injury in the next couple of days, Frank Robinson has pulled Claudio Vargas out of the rotation and gave him his first bullpen action yesterday. Should Cordero struggle at all, Vargas could get the first crack at replacing him, and it should be expected that Cordero will have a relatively short leash due to his age/inexperience.
