News: Giles, out with a knee injury after awkwardly sliding into second base on opening day, had excess fluid drained yesterday and is responding well to treatment. Diagnosed with a bone bruise, he could return to the lineup as early as today.

Views: An obvious relief for Giles owners. In all likelihood, manager Bobby Cox will play it safe and sit him for today's home opener. Giles is a premium fantasy commodity, but with his penchant for injury he's as high risk, high reward as they come.
