News: The San Francisco Chronicle is reporting the Oakland A's might be interesting in signing Thomas and add a much-needed power threat to their lineup.
Views: After persistent foot and ankle problems last year, Thomas fits in well with the A's low-risk, high-reward philosophy. His 12 HR in only 105 AB last year are a good indication there's still lightning in his bat. Pending a clean bill of health, he could be worth a flier in the late rounds of AL-only drafts.
