News: Minnesot first baseman Justin Morneau continued his red hot spring with a 1-for-2 perfomace against Boston on Thursday. This raised his spring average to .381.

Views: Good news for Twins fans and Morneau owners, especially since Minnesota doesn't have anyone in camp that they would like to see at 1B on a regular basis to spell Mornuea.

He never underwent surgery for the bone chips in his elbow, so that injury could crop up at any time.
