Joey Gathright (OF), TB

News: Gathright was involved in an altercation with Boston's Julian Tavarez on Saturday after Tavarez stepped on his arm when making a tag at home plate in the eighth inning of Monday's 12-11 loss. His arm appears to be fine, though he did catch a nice shot in the jaw from Tavarez. Both players were ejected.

Views: The fire between the Sox and Rays continues to burn. They were in a couple of bench-clearing brawls last season, and this battle started quite a ruckus on the field as well. Expect a short suspension to be announced for Gathright in the next week.

This was insane. Tavarez stepped on Gathwright, then punched him on the chin.
