Michael Cuddyer (OF/3B), MIN - Injury
March 29, 2006
News: In a similar ugly twist of fate to teammate Jeb Bartlett, Cuddyer may start the season on the disabled list because of a strained oblique muscle. Cuddyer, who has disappointed in his first few seasons, seemed to be on his way to an easy victory over Lew Ford and Jason Kubel for the Right Field job, as he was batting .500 with a pair of homers in 28 at bats.
Views: Cuddyer, who could still have eligibility at second and third base depending upon your league's qualifications, has the potential to be a nice sleeper pick if this injury doesn't derail his season. However, he should probably be left on the waiver wire unless you have room to stash him on your disabled list at this point.
