News: Thome is peaking at the right time. Since Sunday, Thome has homered twice against the Royals, Cubs, and Brewers to raise his Spring total from zero to six in the past five days.
Views: You could consider me a concerned owner heading into last weekend, but I'm suddenly ultra-pumped about what Thome's going to do in that loaded White Sox lineup, particularly hitting in a park as conducive to power as U.S. Cellular Field. I was chalking him up for a .270-30-100 season with a bit of upside a week ago, but now those dreams of forty homers or more are starting to look like they may be a reality.
