News: Bonds homered for the second day in a row, and now has 711 notches under his belt. He's just three away from Babe Ruth for second place all-time.
Views: Since Bonds finally hit his first home run on Saturday, he now has three in the past five games. It was a monstrous shot, too, as he hit it into the left field power alley off of a 99-MPH Billy Wagner fastball to tie the game with two outs in the ninth. I'm still not so sure I'd say that you should go out and get Barry, though. He's still looking pretty beat up.
