News: Washburn finally received some support, picking up his second win of the season in a 5-1 win over the Chicago White Sox. Despite allowing just six runs over 21.1 innings over his past three starts (2.54 ERA), Washburn is now 1-2 in that span.
Views: You have to think that the Seattle bats will come around a little more as the season wears on. Right now, Washburn's worth keeping around just for his ERA (3.51) and WHIP (0.99) despite the lack of support. If he starts seeing his offense give him something to work with, he could be in for a nice year.
