News: St. Louis' Albert Pujols joined Luis Gonzalez and Ken Griffey, Jr as co-record holders' Friday night as he tied the record for most home runs in the month of April (13) with a solo shot in the eighth inning of the Cards' 8-3 loss to Washington.
Views: Pujols went 2-for-4 with two RBI in the game, as he added an RBI single in the seventh. On the season, he raised his BA to .351 (27-for-77).
Pujols, with 31 RBI, is one short of Mark McGwire's team record of 32 RBI for a month.
