News: St. Louis' Jim Edmonds and Juan Encarnacion are a pair of Cardinals that have struggled this season, but had solid games on Sunday. They combined to go 4-for-10 with four RBI in St. Louis' 9-2 win over Washington.
Views: Edmonds went 2-for-5 with three RBI. He has slowly improved his BA from .154 to the current .213 (16-for-75). He drove in his runs with a two-RBI single in the fifth and an RBI-single in the eighth.
Encarnacion also went 2-for-5 with an RBI on his second home run of the season. He has been floating around the current .222 mark (20-for-90) for most of the season.
