Freddy Sanchez (3b), PIT - Hot
May 30, 2006
News: Sanchez continued his torrid start Tuesday, going 4-for-5 with a double in Tuesday's 12-1 win over the Milwaukee Brewers. Sanchez is now 7-for-9 over the past two games, and is batting .345 in May.
Views: Joe Who? Freddy Sanchez and Craig Wilson have done nothing but show the Bucs that they wasted money on Sean Casey and Joe Randa in the offseason. Sanchez doesn't have a whole lot of pop in his bat, but he's a solid line drive hitter who almost always puts the ball in play. He's not a bad guy to grab if you're trying to make up for a weak average hitter.
