News: Botts is the player that stands to benefit the most because of Phil Nevin's trade to the Chicago Cubs on Tuesday. Botts, who has been splitting time with Nevin for the past week since being called up, will likely get the majority of the starts at DH the rest of the way.
Views: Botts has looked fantastic since getting the call, and is 5-for-12 with a homer and 3 RBI in the past week. Furthermore, he's shown terrific plate discipline early on, drawing four walks against four strikeouts. He has tremendous power potential, and Ameriquest should help him out quite a bit in that regard as well. He's more than worth a look in deep or AL leagues, and may even be worth a shot in some shallower mixed leagues.
