News: The Arizona Republic reports that Julio has been named the new Diamondbacks' closer, at least for Tuesday night.
Views: The way that Jose Valverde has been pitching for the past week, we had a feeling that someone would be taking over the closer's role soon. Whether it would be Julio, Brandon Lyon, or Brandon Medders was what we were unsure of. All indications are that this is probably going to be temporary, and once Valverde returns to form in the middle innings, he should regain the job.
