News: Mark Mulder picked up his sixth win of the season, but it was another roller-coaster start for him, as he gave up four runs over five innings in the Cards' 6-5 win over Pittsburgh.
Views: Mulder only threw 78 pitches, and many had inconsistent location. He gave up nine hits and walked two as he struck out six. Mulder also gave up home runs to Jose Bautista and Jose Castillo. Mulder's ERA has steadily risen since his 8.1 inning shutout performance against the Mets a month ago, going from 3.69 to its current 5.16. PLEASE, someone take him and allow the Cards to bring up Anthony Reyes FOR GOOD!
