Todd Helton (1b), COL - Hot
June 25, 2006
News: Helton had his fourth straight multi-hit game and seventh in his past ten in Colorado's 11-6 win over the Texas Rangers. He also hit his seventh homer of the season, and first since June 14, as he raised his average to .310 on the year.
Views: Many will remember Helton's early-season struggles last season at this point. I'm of the opinion that the 30-35 homer power simply isn't there anymore, but he's still a solid .340 hitter who will find his way to at least that mark by the end of the season. Expect him to contend for the batting title again, but don't expect more than 10-15 homers the rest of the way.
