News: Though he failed to homer for just the second time in his last seven games, Ramirez stayed red hot at the plate, going 2-for-4 in the Cubs' 1-0 loss to the New York Mets. Ramirez extended his hitting streak to seven games, four of which have seen multiple hits.
Views: The time to acquire Ramirez has passed, and I certainly wouldn't advise selling high on him at this point. Ramirez has hit .309 with terrific power after the break the past two seasons, and he looks like he's picking up the pieces.
