News: Maddux was dealt to the Dodgers for SS Cesar Izturis minutes before Monday's deadline.
Views: On the positive side, Maddux should see his ERA and WHIP improve a bit now that he no longer has to call Wrigley Field home. He should also have a better shot at winning a few more ballgames, as the Dodgers have the third best offense in the National League and the Cubs have the worst in all of baseball (in terms of runs scored to this point). By no means is Maddux going to be a savior for fantasy owners or the Dodgers, but he'll give them an adequate third starter with a wealth of experience.
