News: Wells was traded to Texas on Monday for 23-year-old righthander Jesse Chavez.
Views: This should prove to be a nice under the radar pickup by the Rangers, as Wells should give them a capable fourth starter behind Kevin Millwood, Vicente Padilla, and Adam Eaton. Wells struggled early upon returning from surgery, going just 1-5 with a 6.69 ERA to this point. However, he's turned it up a notch of late, and has allowed just four runs in his last three starts.
