Matt Stairs (OF), TEX

News: Stairs was traded to the Rangers Monday for minor-league journeyman Joselo Diaz.

Views: A nice depth pickup by the Rangers, but nothing more. Stairs didn't have much fantasy value outside of uber-deep AL leagues before the deal, but his value's completely gone after it.

He'll see time in RF and DH, won't he? Batting left handed at Ameriquest, he'll definitely take advantage of that jet stream in right field.

I hope they don't play him in the OF. He is not very good there anymore. Also, after watching him for a couple of years, he doesn't pull the ball a lot. More to left-center or center.
