Chone Figgins (2b/3b/OF), LAA - Update: DL

News: Updating previous reports about Figgins' broken finger on his throwing hand, it appears that he will begin the season on the disabled list. The timetable that the Angels are giving for his probable return is five to six weeks. He'll be re-evaluated shortly after the season begins.
Views: If you were counting on Figgins, I hope you grabbed a strong backup. He won't gain DL eligibility until the start of the season, so if you're an owner who doesn't have a lot of room for flexibility on your roster, you're just going to have to wait and hope that there's someone left on the waiver wire on Opening Day.
