Alex Gordon (3B), KC - Cold
April 16, 2007
News: In 10 games this season, Alex Gordon is hitting just .111 with one home run and two RBIs. He also has 14 strikeouts in just 36 at bats.
Views: Despite the poor start, the Kansas City Star is reporting that Gordon will not be demoted down to AAA. “Baseball forces you to be patient,” Manager Dayton Moore told the Star. “There’s nothing we need to do right now. We just continue to play. I think it takes about 40 games to evaluate what kind of club you have.
After 40 games?
After 40 games?
LMAO!
After 40 games?
He only said it takes 40 games to evaluate the club, not the player. This can't be good for Gordon's development.

Yes, but he is implying that he doesn't want to change anything about the team for at least 40 games. So that essentially mean that Gordon won't be moved...

They won't let him continue to do this badly for 40 games, would they? He's going to start developing some bad habits, start taking his bad start with him onto the field, etc.
I hope Gordon turns it around. He's obviously too good for AA but not good enough for the Majors yet. That's really too bad.
