News: Santana had another poor road effort at Fenway Monday, raising his season ERA to 7.63 while picking up the loss. He lasted just 4 innings, giving up 7 hits and walking a trio along the way. Santana finished with 7 runs against, although only 5 were earned thanks to a 1st inning throwing error by Howie Kendrick that allowed Manny to score.
Views: Ervin's road struggles are well documented, and based on his career splits his road ERA is more than 3 full points higher than at home! Santana owners can comfortably start him in Anaheim, but from here on out you may want to be more picky and choosy with his road matchups until he finds some consistency outside of Orange County.
