News: Pudge went 2-5 against KC Monday night. He hit a 2 run double, and hit a Grand Slam for a total of 6 RBI.
Views: In the early going this season, Rodriguez has 3 home runs and 11 RBI. This can be considered sort of a Contract year for Pudge. The Tigers can exercise an option for next season, which they probably will do. But a little more is at stake, since the Tigers really lack Catcher depth in the organization, and may be more interested in adding years to the deal.
