Fantasy Baseball Player News

Mark Teixeira (1B), TEX - Cold
April 19, 2007

News: After a 0-3 performance tonight, Mark Teixeira is hitting just .192 and has only two RBIs so far this season.

Views: He's really struggling out there, but there is no doubt he'll eventually turn it around. Don't give up on his just quite yet.

Did anyone who had him last year re-up for another season of agony (excluding keepers)? I had him for a whole season last year in one league and traded for him around the all-star break in another. Yeah, he rewarded me nicely at the end, but what a hassle!

Mark Teixeira is a 2nd half guy. Let some1 else draft him and then you buy low in May. This guy hit something like 24 dingers after the All-Star break, the only player with more was Big Papi.

I knew that when I traded for him a few weeks ago, but I wasn't quite prepared for the brutally bad performance he's given me so far. He's untradeable at the moments because all you would get are lowball offers, so I'll just have to ride it out and hope he starts resembling a major league player soon.
