Miguel Cabrera (3b), FLA

News: Cabrera left after the second inning of Thursday's game with the New York Mets with what's being described as a stiff right torso.

Views: It will be interesting to see what comes of this. The only thing that I can think of that's a typical injury in that area is the oblique muscle. The move seemed to be precautionary, and he apparently hurt himself laying down a sacrifice bunt in the first inning. If Fredi Gonzalez wasn't already going to be second guessed for having one of the five best hitters in baseball laying down a sacrifice bunt in the bottom of the first of a 1-1 ballgame, he will be now.

We'll get you more information as we have it, but hopefully this isn't something that's going to keep Cabrera out of the lineup long. If you have a backup plan at third for the weekend, get him in there.
