News: Updating previous blurbs, the Cubs announced today that Mark Prior will miss the remainder of the season after he undergoes "exploratory" surgery on his shoulder.

Views: Continued bad news for a kid with such talent and potential. Hopefully this surgery will finally do some good for his shoulder, but it's hard to say if he'll ever be even a decent major league pitcher again.
