News: Alex Gonzalez exploded Tuesday, as he had four hits, including two home runs with five RBI, in the Reds' 10-3 win over the Cardinals.
Views: Gonzalez had a nice start to his season, topping out at .324 on April 17. But over the last five games, he went 2-for-20 to drop his BA to .241 entering Tuesday. In going 4-for-6 on the night, Gonzalez hit a two-run shot in the second off of Kip Wells, a double in the fourth and a three-run homer in the fifth off of Wells. He added a single in the ninth.
