News: Derrek Lee continues his assault on the (very) early lead for a battling title as the only qualified hitting in the majors with a BA over .400. Lee extended his hitting streak to 11 games on Wednesday in the Cubs' 7-1 win over Pittsburgh.

Views: Lee had his fourth four-hit game in the streak during Tuesday's suspended game, where he went 4-for-5 with an RBI.

Wednesday, Lee went 2-for-4 with two RBI, giving him 19 on the season. Puzzling still, Lee has just one HR on the year, but his BA is up to .415.

Making no mention of the doubles he has hit in 8 consecutive games.
