News: Mark Loretta continues to prove that he deserves playing time in Houston, going 4-for-5 with a RS and an RBI in the Astros' 13-0 victory over St. Louis.
Views: Loretta got the start today at 2B, and as the rout progressed, he saw time at SS and 1B as well. He has had four multi-hit games over his last five starts. Unfortunately, those five starts only came over nine games. Since mid-April, when he was hitting .125, Loretta has gone 19-for-43 (.442) to improve his BA to .392 on the season. If you are in a very deep league and you can keep up with his spot starts, he's a must add right now.
