News: Zumaya was warming up in the bullpen last Saturday when he felt a pop in his middle finger on his throwing hand. MLB.com is now reporting that he ruptured a tendon and will require surgery. He is expected to miss 12 weeks.

Views: Ouch. A pop, and now surgery. Not good for the Tigers, and really not good for the Zumaya owners waiting for Jones to be replaced. Probably really good for the Jones owners wondering when he'd be replaced.
