News: Alfonso Soriano made his one hit count on Wednesday -- a lead-off home run that led the Cubs to a 1-0 win over Pittsburgh.
Views: It was Soriano's only hit (1-for-4 with three strikeouts), but it extended his hitting streak to 17 games. That goes back to before missing a few games with a hamstring strain. He was hitting .200 at the time. Soriano has since gone 27-for-74 (.365) to bump his BA to .312. All of his HR (three) and RBI (seven) have come during the streak.
