News: Woody Williams finally got rewarded for his recent solid efforts, as he picked up his first win of the season in the Astros' 3-2 over Cincinnati.
Views: Williams also provided the game-winning hit -- he singled in the tie-breaking run in the fourth inning. He allowed two runs on six hits, two walks and struck out three over 6.2 innings.
This was Williams fourth straight quality start -- the first three Williams allowed three runs in each game and lost 3-0, 3-1 and 3-2. So he's pitching better of late than his 1-5 record indicates. NL-Only leaguers might be interested if they are hurting.
