Darrell Rasner (SP) NYY

News: Darrell Rasner fractured his index finger on his pitching arm and will require a trip to the disabled list. Tylaer Clippard should get the starts in place of him, for the time being.

Views: It sure is a good thing the Yankees got Roger Clemens. His services will be needed as soon as they are available. Rasner will likely be out until at least the All-Star break.

So I guess that means theres an opening for Hughes when Clemens arrives.

The bad news just mounts for the Yankees. Darrell Rasner will need surgery on his finger and will miss at least three months according to Brian Cashman.

He will have surgery tonight or tomorrow.
