News: Cabrera extended his hitting streak to twelve games with his second homer of the year in the third inning of Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Detroit Tigers. However, his night wasn't done quite yet. He also made a game-saving leaping catch to rob Carlos Guillen of a bases loaded single to end the game.
Views: Cabrera tends to be underappreciated, but he's a nice solid average-hitter with double digit pop and is capable of 25+ steals. He's a quality second tier starter at shortstop in mixed leagues.
