What is it?
It's an easy-to-play, yet challenging pick'em style baseball game.
Each week, we schedule 15 carefully selected MLB games. The matchups we look for include games with clear trends or less understood variables. You do the research (or take your best guess) and send in your projected score for each game. At season's end, the player with the most accurate projections wins!
Rules
» Each Pick'ed Off league consists of ten teams. Unless you choose the private league ("office pool") option, each team will be randomly placed into an available league.
» The 6-month regular season is broken up into halves (see schedule below)
» Each week, 15 games are posted Tuesday at 6 PM PST (9 PM EST) and played the following week. Thus, you'll have at least 5 full days to send in your projected score for each game. Optional reminder emails are sent out every Friday afternoon. Scores may be placed (or changed) up until the first pitch of each game. Once the game begins, all scores are locked and final.
» A scoring prediction for the correct winning team earns you 3 Pick'ed Off Points (POPs). A scoring prediction for the correct winning team and the exact final score earns you 5 POPs (2 bonus points). An incorrect scoring prediction for the losing team costs you 1 POP. At the conclusion of your two month season, the player with the most accumulated POPs wins.

Yankees vs Red Sox
Your Projected Score: Yankees 8 - Red Sox 6
Actual Score: Yankees 6 - Red Sox 3
You win 3 POPs
