Rumor Mill
According to the LA Times, Dave Roberts is atop the list of Dodgers that clubs are pursing in early trade talks with GM Dan Evans. Roberts is second in the NL with 24 steals and makes just $400,000 this season. Teams have also been asking for pitcher Edwin Jackson who was the Dodgers minor league pitcher of the year in 2002. Jackson is 3-5 with a 2.95 ERA in 15 starts for Double-A Jacksonville.

Injuries
Fred McGriff (1B) - 15-Day DL (groin)
McGriff went on the DL for the first time in his 18 major league seasons. The move is retroactive to June 14th so he'll be eligible to return this Sunday. He has been running in the outfield and is expected to return this weekend.

Brian Jordan (OF) - day-to-day
Jordan has a strained left patella tendon, which he had offseason surgery on last year. He aggravated the injury on an infield single in Wednesday's loss to the Giants. While the Dodgers haven't ruled out more surgery, Jordan will play through the injury "until it won't let me go."

Darren Dreifort (SP) - 15-day DL (right knee)
Todd Hundley (C) - Status: 15-day DL, irritation of sciatic nerve (back)
Troy Brohawn (RP) - Status: 15-day DL, tendinitis in rotator cuff
