You know the guy that started Willie Parker over Domanick Davis even though Davis was his second round pick? The...

I took my beating without Walker as well.Worst for me was the pairing of Ahman Green and Dominack Davis for week one.Lovely start. However I did manage to grab Walker, Randal El,and best of all replaced Bubba Franks with Baker.

Baker's line looked great but I didn't see the game to get a feel if it'll be a real trend. I almost picked him up in one league but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Plus I wonder if Jolley will take looks away.

Baker has good hands and I think Pennington has developed alot of trust in him. That never hurts when the QB is confident in you,he's far more likely to get the ball to you especially in crunch time and goal-line situations.

although I won my first week, there were a number of things that could have gone better. I didnt even start a TE cuz I dropped eric johnson way too late. I was deciding between baker, pollard and utecht (they all had TDs). next week ill be starting alex smith...
then theres my bench RB. I started JJ arrington and Brian Westbrook along with Fred Taylor. Westbrook gave me solid numbers and taylor solid yards, so no mistakes there, right? wrong! I had stephen davis and LJ on the bench. Nate burleson had a stellar game! except he only got me like 3 points when I had plax and his 70 yards plus a TD or soon my bench

Well lets see I lost by 2 points in week one...but im more upset because Favre earned me a solid negative 2 points, so much for the tie. Only time this season I wouldve been happy to see Favre put up a goose egg.

Unfortunately, I had the honor of rooting for the Lions and watching Walker go down. He is my #1 WR in both my leagues. I also started Mike Anderson of Westbrook not knowing what was going to happen with Philly. So, I took my lumps there too. It sad to see 2 of your 7 individual starters walk off the field and not come back. Meanwhile, The NE Defense won the game, but made no plays. So, I was forced to celebrate Jake Delhomme's mediocre performance.
