FIC 2006 Fantasy Baseball Draft Kit

I'm in an auction league, 12 teams, and one of the teams is owned by a chick (not that there's anything wrong with that). At the auction, in the third round, she says, "David Givens $5.00", we have $100.00 budgets, so everyone was like, go ahead, he's all yours for $5.00... ......so she's obviously not too bright about football. Anyway, she was inactive for the first 5 weeks, she had Javon Walker starting with Reggie Wayne on her bench, Akers starting, ...etc., then all of the sudden in week 6, the week we happen to be playing her, she makes a trade with the commish and fixes her whole team. I posted a message asking why she's all of the sudden active and the commish says he called her to tell her and to make the trade with him (he got the Bears' D and Galloway from her for the Bills' D and Bledsoe, not very fair IMO)....I was bullshit!!!!! I didn't think it was fair, I thought her team should have been locked for the rest of the season and everyone should have gotten a crack at her crappy team, as is....all I got for responses was to stop bitching. We ended up losing to her..... ...the other problem is no one really knows eachother, but the commish knows everyone, so he can pick up the phone and call any owner he wants to get things he wants done, done.

That one's awful, wolverine. A commish somewhat actively messing with the competitive integrity, the guy who's supposed to maintain it! At least my commish was only passively messing with it.

I am also in a league where the commish pulled a fast one. They have the power to make roster adjustments after games have started, like if someone can contact the commish before (leave a message, whatever) before the roster deadline because they can't make it to a computer, then the commish can go in after and make the change.

Well, I was playing this commish and he had picked up Drew Brees but was still starting Delhomme on a bye. All sunday long it says Delhomme on the live scoring, then suddenly on Monday it has Brees in the game and he activates Willie Parker as well and benches Ahman Green. I still won but there's nothing worse than a shady commissioner. There's even a page that details when it happened and it says he did the activating at 1:00 am on Monday.

I've been through all of that before. I had joined a private league, and when my team was beating all the other teams, the commish locked my team n dropped my players to suit his team. I didn't know anyone, so I didn't bother to do anything about it.

This is why I just play in public leagues or else FIC/friend leagues.

I'm assuming it wasn't a money league? Because mine is!

Yeah mine wasn't, it was just some draft. This is why I don't do money with strangers for leagues, unless it was FIC. Other than that, I don't bother.

I hate these young punk kids that think they can commish a league. I was in a baseball/football keeper league where this punk @ss kid locked me out enitrely from the league because I was literally kicking EVERYONE'S @ss in that league. The week of the baseball championship game, he benches my entire team and then locks me out so I can't change anything. And then a couple of weeks into the football season, same thing. I was kicking @ss (because that's what I do) so he locks me out.

Needless to say, it really didn't matter. When you ask for the best, you're going to get the best. I can't help that.....

I'm amazed that after the baseball experience you joined another one of this kid's leagues.....what are you? A glutton for punishment?
