Fantasy Football Player Rankings: Week Fourteen Match-ups

NOTE: My wife will have surgery on Monday, and today she had some Pre-Op items done, which took most of the day. I am going to go ahead and post the rankings and hope to be able to write up the Plus and Negative Plays later tonight or tomorrow, depending on how much hopping my wife has me do. I know the timing is bad for this, but there's not much I can do.

With the surgery on Monday, she is expected to be in the hospital for three days, which are three days that I won't have that I normally have to prepare these rankings. I will shoot for having the rankings for Week Fifteen up Friday or Saturday, but no promises on the PP and NP write-ups.

Again, I know the timing is bad with the playoffs beginning, but that's out of my control and I will do my best to get things up as close to normal as possible. Thanks and Good Luck!

Good rankings as usual. Hope for the best of your wife, surgery sucks.

Went under the knife before, maybe you have too, so maybe you could re-assure her if she's nervous.

Good luck to your wife, Jeff. You don't need to be worrying about football rankings right now.

good luck with everything jeff--- and forget about the silly fantasy football matchup things--- I think we have enough craziness to help us with our starters and you have far more important things to worry about

hope all goes well

Thank you, everyone, for your kind and thoughtful words.

We're looking positive toward the surgery. It's not a dangerous surgery, so we're expecting good things.

The long-time guys here remember, but you new guys don't know -- I had a surgery 2 1/2 years ago where I was supposed to be in the hospital for six days after the surgery -- I was in for 98. So you never know ....

It sure ruined my fantasy baseball and football teams, though!

But, in looking positive, if you take the fact that the surgeons put the difficult patients (ME) at the end of the day and they put the easier ones at the beginning (my wife's No. 1), that eased our minds a bit.

Thanks, again, guys.

Good luck. My mom is going in to the hospital for a while for bone marrow transplant, about 90 days, so we can empathize. Good luck tomorow. And my mom brought her computer to the hospital with her...lol.

Seriously, best of luck.
