News: Ben Broussard had a career high 8 RBI in the Indians' win over the Boston Red Sox today. He went 4-5 with 2 runs and 2 HR, one of which was a grand slam.
Views: And he's most likely on the waiver wire in your league, and deservedly so. The 8 RBI was an MLB season high and Broussard basically doubled his RBIs on the season, from 9 to 17. Since he is a first baseman, and doesn't put up great power numbers, he has virtually no value in mixed leagues.
there has got to be a few people who got lucky and played him in an emergency spot yesterday because a lot of teams had the day off
he is obviously not a reccommended daily start, but did anybody play him for the day yesterday, or even worse, did anybody have the terrible luck to go up against him yesterday???

Yes, Me. I had Beckett. EWWWWWW. Lowered my ERA by 3 points. But I did get a solid performance from Sizemore going 2-5, 3R, and 1 RBI. Meh. My ERA will go down after I get some solid starts from Schilling, Sheets, Mulder, and Buehrle and of course if my RPs don't screw up.
