News: St. Louis' Sidney Ponson is silencing all his critics with yet another solid performance Thursday night, as he improved to 3-0 with the Cards' 6-2 win over Washington.
Views: Ponson allowed two runs over 6.2 IP. He scattered five hits and walked two on 86 pitches. He also struck out four. His ERA improved to .313 and his WHIP to 1.30 -- good stuff from an off-season gamble. |
