Baseball Player News: Kelvim Escobar (SP), ANA

News: Escobar was removed from Saturday's start against the Chicago White Sox after just five innings (72 pitches) with a blood blister on his pitching hand. He'd been pitching fairly well, and allowed just a run on three hits and a walk.
Views: Let's hope Escobar didn't decide to train with Josh Beckett and Jeremy Affeldt in the offseason. Escobar has been dealing with this problem for a few weeks now, but has pitched through it so far. |
