News: Sheffield left Saturday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays in the fifth inning after colliding hard with Shea Hillenbrand at first base. He's currently day to day with a bruised knee and a sore wrist, the AP reports.
Views: He'll be re-evaluated and could possibly still start tomorrow, but I'd leave him out of the lineup if you have another option. It doesn't sound like the injury is going to keep him out of the lineup for long. |
