News: With seven days between starts, Houston's Taylor Buchholz worked around four walks issued Sunday to pick up his second win of the season in the Astors' 3-2 win over Cincinnati.
Views: Buchholz is in the unenviable position of being the guy that gets bumped on off days to keep the frontlline starters on schedule. On the season, he's 2-1 with a 2.05 ERA and a 0.76 WHIP.
On Sunday, Buchholz allowed two runs on three hits and four walks over 6.1 IP. He also struck out two.
In a very deep league, I would. Since he's a spot/No. 5 starter, he can't be counted on for continuous production for a fantasy team, but on the right roster, he could provide a good occasional spot start. But I wouldn't add him right now to most 12-team or any smaller leagues.
