Baseball Player News: Miguel Batista (SP), ARI

News: Batista went the distance Tuesday, limiting the New York Mets to just two runs (one earned) on nine hits and a walk in Arizona's 7-2 win. He's now won back to back starts for the first time this season, and improved to 5-2 on the year.
Views: With the way the bullpen has looked for the past week (particularly Jose Valverde), I don't blame the Diamondbacks for trying to get all they could out of Batista. He remains a borderline option at best, however. |
