Baseball Player News: Nick Swisher (1b/OF), OAK

News: Swisher continues to follow up his breakout April with a terrific May. The Moneyball favorite homered for the second consecutive night, finishing 3-for-6 on the evening. He also stole the first base of his career.
Views: Don't expect many more of those stolen bases... they don't like to run in Oakland. As for the rest of his pure numbers, Swisher is showing phenomenal power and terrific discipline at the plate. He continues to look like the best player on the field night in and night out. |
