News: Ortiz was designated for assignment on Tuesday. He's 0-5 with a 7.54 ERA and 2.16 WHIP in just 22.2 innings of work this season. He's not expected to accept the assignment.
Views: This means the team now has ten days to trade him or release him. Ortiz' days as a D-Back appear to be over. Good riddance! |
