Baseball Player News: Casey Blake (OF), CLE

News: The Cleveland Indians placed Casey Blake on the 15-DL on Thursday with a strained right oblique muscle.
Views: Blake was injured in batting practice Wednesday. He has been playing well (.304, 10 HR, 36 RBI), so this is a tough break. It is expected that Franklin Gutierrez will be called up for Friday's game. |
